The hardest part of accessing counselling is reaching out for help, but in doing so your journey of empowerment begins.

Whatever your experiences are, I work from a person-centred approach, offering an empathic, trusting and non-judgemental space enabling you to explore your experiences safely.

About me

My name is Jayne and I am a BACP Registered Counsellor based in Kinver.

With many years’ experience working as a trauma informed counsellor and advocate, I have specialised in supporting survivors of sexual abuse at West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre. I now have my own private practice.

I also have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, self-esteem, self-harm and stress.

The Counselling Process

It offers you an opportunity to work through issues you are experiencing, or have experienced no matter how big or small they may feel.

A person-centred approach is the foundation of my practice, integrating other therapeutic methods to create a tailored approach in my work. This means you are at the centre of the process, working together to address your needs. I will not tell you what to do, but by creating a safe, trusting environment you will be offered the opportunity to talk openly about your concerns and experiences, while working towards a self-aware, more positive lifestyle.

I have recently had therapy with Jayne and she was amazing with helping with the issues I had. She helped me work through issues I had from my childhood and helped ensure these issues didn't spill into my life currently.

I have found the sessions very useful and found this to have a very positive impact on my life.

Thank you Jayne!
